Cancer doctor faces medical board efforts to revoke license

Oklahoma residents who have followed the career of physician Stanislaw Burzunski, a popular but controversial doctor who treats cancer patients, may have heard that he is under investigation by the Texas medical board that is trying to revoke his license. The doctor has been the focus of many legal proceedings and investigations.

Decision by NHTSA clears obstacle for self-driving cars

Oklahoma motorists who have followed the progress of the development of self-driving cars may be interested in a decision by the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration that clears some obstacles out of the way. According to a Feb. 4 letter from the NHTSA to Google, under federal law, the driver in autonomous vehicles will be considered to be the software that does the decision-making.

Oklahoma trucking accident leaves 2 injured

An Oklahoma City accident semi-truck has left two people with minor injuries. The collision occurred on the westbound lanes of Interstate 40 and Interstate 44 and resulted in the highway being closed for nearly five hours. Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials reported that the semi-truck driver collided with the I-44 bridge at approximately 12:05 p.m. on Feb. 6.
